The Thompsons

Sean Thompson is a fourth generation Shorthorn breeder. While his herd began in Manitoba as part of the family farm, Poplar Park Shorthorns, he and his wife Michelle now call Alberta home.

Farm Direct Beef

We typically consign a selection of replacement heifers and young bulls to sales each fall and spring. Cattle are also for sale by private treaty off the farm. In addition, we direct market finished beef from the farm at different times throughout the year. Visit our For Sale page to learn more.
